Porch de Salomon is a grassroots ministry based in Panajachel, Guatemala, serving indigenous communities across Sololá and beyond. Inspired by Solomon’s Porch—a place of gathering, teaching, and transformation—we connect volunteers, supporters, and local families through compassion, relationship-building, and practical service to bring hope, dignity, and lasting change.

Porch de Salomon lives out its faith through adventure, risk, fun, and service—choosing an outreach-centered, relational approach rather than a traditional mission model.

Real love requires courage. We take thoughtful risks, choosing trust and vulnerability over certainty, and showing up even when outcomes are unclear. Service is partnership, not rescue. We work with communities, honoring dignity, local leadership, and long-term relationship.
